Yes, extremely so. British plebs need their bread and circus though. Keeps 'em in line.
There's about as much "strategy" in soccer as there is in a game of ping-pong.
Only to overrun
Rocketman
(cause he did that often to me):
You don't understand soccer.
There's so much strategy and mindgame in it.
Anyhow, I could talk to a tree.
Any news from RT?

It’s not exactly what I’d call an exciting sport to watch nor is it really even close to the most intelligent sport to play. Football (American football) requires the most intelligence to play. So many different kinds of plays that offenses need to memorize, different routes, blocking schemes, run/pass options, where the pass rush is coming from, who are the spies, if the defense is blitzing, etc.
But yeah, soccer can be a fun watch. Just as long as there are no goddamn draws. Fuck that ****, yo.

Right. So much of soccer seems ad hoc. I’m sure a great deal
Of strategizing goes into which players you put out and where, there are probably lots of tactical schemes employed but at the end of the day, it’s so fast paced and disorganIzed relative to US football. I’d agree with the caveat being I simply don’t know much about soccer.
Stop. -

Wrong about what? I even added a disclaimer so as not to offend your tender little heart.
American football requires a great amount of strategy and forethought. I don’t doubt it’s possible soccer does, too. I just don’t see it; it’s not readily apparent.

But it’s true. US football requires a great amount of strategy. Probably more so than soccer.
What is "true" and how can you say that since you don't know soccer? -
Vlad. — 3 years ago(December 11, 2022 06:54 PM)
What is true is stated in the sentence following “but it’s true.” I can say this because I used the word “probably,” implying my superficial understanding of the sport is sufficient enough to draw the conclusion I’ve made in my reply.

Germans love me. Serious. I was in a French bar and 3 girls lined up and kissed me, all blonde which means German.
Good joke (not really).
