Sweden just scored, but it’s sad that sides like this are so, so far ahead of us now.
We’re the nation that had Souness, Law, Baxter, Dalglish, McCoist, Greig, Johnston, Bremner, Caldow etc
We used to have Big Eck, Willie Miller and Hanson at CB all at the same time!
It’s frustrating that the Welsh have fluked Giggs and Bale, but we have gilmour now, so there’s that

They aren't that far ahead of us at all, player wise.
Robertson, Tierney, McTominay, Gilmour, McGinn and maybe MacGregor would be good enough to start for Sweden.
Our problem is that we never have a game plan or a settled team. It's a management problem. I think we should be looking abroad for our next manager.

Not sure I rate McTominay. He’s a bog standard EPL player, good enough for the squad, but not someone to build a team around.
I’m sure you’ll find this hilarious, but Ryan Jack is a far, far better player

Yeah, but he does do an important job for United. I think we maybe expect too much of him in a Scotland shirt. He should be no-where near the midfield now. I think center-half is the best place for him.
Midfield should be built around Gilmour. I still think MacGregor is best place to play alongside him. With Gauld and McGinn as attacking midfielders
