β 5 years ago(November 20, 2020 05:20 AM)I disagree about Blinding lights but youβre right about The Weekndβs career shift .He managed to reinvent himself from underground alt-rnb and experimental pop to full on mainstream pop star. Thatβs very difficult to do being as low-key a person as he is.
IMO the best pop song of the year either Don't start Now or Hallucinate by Dua Lipa with Blinding lights a close 3rd.

I dig quite a few of his songs. Hopefully we get a special guest performance by Daft Punk since they did βStarboyβ and βI Feel it Comingβ with him.

It would be dope if they show up regardless. Iirc those dudes stopped doing shows after the RAM tour seven years ago. But even if theyβre there as a guest performer the show will be amazing.
