It wasn't fun for me. My mother made me go and I hated it. Luckily she saw how unhappy I was and let me leave. I still remember how relieved I was to not have to go there any more.

I was pissed off even at 2 because they hardly ever let us do anything. It seems you have to be on the team to do things… I just knew it made me look more attractive, even as early as at 2 years old. My mom was actually the top in her country in gymnastics. She started off in ballet. She's better with her physical ego, but I feel I outdo her athletically. I didn't get into piano lessons until I was 9 and there was no ballet where I lived, in the oldest continuing city in the US.
