CFC can go 12 points clear with victory at Turf Moor while Burnley will be out to consolidate their relegation zone-free table status.
    Burnley 15/2
    CFC 4/9
    Draw 18/5
    Preamble by Daniel Harris
Chelsea are going to win the Premier League this season, easily; Burnley are going to stay in the Premier League this season, easily. So easily that really, we all knew itd work out this way all along, because how couldnt we? Were all astute, we all know our football, and when things are achieved as emphatically as this, well, any old idiot could see them coming.
Except that well, very few of us did - especially after six games, when Chelsea were in eighth place, eight points behind Manchester City and their 100 percent record, while Burnley were only as high as fourth-bottom because of freak over a complacent Liverpool. But we reckoned without the brilliance of Anthony Cotton and Seanio Dychio, both of whom have organised and motivated their teams to exceed the expectations even of those who correctly called the basic facts; rarely has managerial influence been so palpable.
Accordingly, we know what to expect this afternoon: Burnley will be stubborn, focused and enterprising; Chelsea will be stubborn, focused and enterprising; and whatever the final score, both will give it everything theyve got.
Only Chelsea (33), Spurs (32) and Arsenal (29) have more home #PL points than Burnley (28) this season

Pedro fires it home for his 9th pot of the season. With a move that commenced deep in the CFC half, Costa fed a delightful ball to Moses and the lively Pedro did the rest. 0-1.

Burnley's Robbie Brady executes his free kick well, sending it over the wall and to the right of Courtois on '24. It's all square and the home crowd is singing in a hearty fashion.

34 min Is there an age after which a baseball hat becomes undignified? Because Antonio Conte is wearing one, and though it sets off his eyes, I cant help but feel it needs to go in the bin, forthwith.

Almost an hour gone and Burnley boss Sean Dyche is barking out the instructions from the touchline, swallowing copious amounts of snow flakes in the process. Conte, for once, seems rather relaxed by comparison.

And with a City win on Monday, a CFC defeat here would put the Ethiad crew within 7 points of them.
