I hope AH_Fan's happy that Brady's suspension was now 100% pointless.

He claimed the Broncos would defeat the Patriots in the playoffs. Well, now one of those teams wouldn't even make the playoffs and the other is the one seed. i mean we all know he is a troll, but i am happy the pats have it regardless.

1st, only 1 game has been played this week so the we need to wait until the week is over. Also, it's not who has the #1 seed now. It's who has the #1 seed after Week 17. Last year at this time, the Pats had the #1 seed. But the Pats lost their final 2 games and lost the #1 seed.
2nd, the Broncos aren't out of the playoffs. Currently, the Broncos are at #6 but they can still improve their position. So the Broncos will be in the playoffs.

When the patriots were not the #1 seed last week, you didn't say "it's about who is the #1 seed after week 17, not now"
And, so the broncos will be in the playoffs because they MIGHT improve their position?

A few weeks ago you had a completely different outlook. You were all about how the Patriots don't control their own destiny and that only the Cowboys, Raiders and Broncos do. Wow, how much things change in a few weeks. You also claimed how accurate ESPNs power rankings were when they had Dallas and Seattle as 1 and 2. That's changed again, do you still stand by your recent predictions and statements or are you changing again?
Simplet question, who is your prediction to represent the AFC in the SuperBowl? Hey,here's a friendly reminder, if it's no longer the Raiders, don't forget to go edit your post from last week that it would be the Raiders.

Wow, AHfan, that's wishful thinking on your part. Are you forgetting that the Broncos have the toughest remaining schedule of any AFC team? They will be playing the teams with the three best records in the AFC and will probably lose 2 out of 3. Meanwhile, both the Dolphins and the Steelers have easier schedules. I think that one of those two teams will surpass the Broncos and eliminate them from the playoff picture.

And that's why the Broncos still have an excellent chance to improve their playoff position, by beating the teams ahead of them.

I think that you and I have a different definition of the term "excellent chance". LOL.
After today's dismal performance by the Broncos, has your opinion of their playoff future changed?
BTW. Now that the Steelers are being investigated for deflating footballs, I fully expect you to demand that Big Ben be suspended for 4 games and the Steelers be penalized a draft pick just like the Patriots were. But given your past history, I suspect that you will say there should be a different set of rules where ONLY the Patriots are penalized and all others teams get no punishment.

1st, I haven't heard any guilty verdict yet like there was in Brady's case. Like the HGH accusations against Manning which were proven false, this case against the Steelers is under investigation but no guilt has been determined yet. I don't demand punishment for innocent people, only for people who have been proven to be guilty, like Brady was.
I suspect that you will say there should be a different set of rules where ONLY the Patriots are penalized and all others teams get no punishment.
2nd, not all crimes are punished the same. 2 people may have committed 1st-degree murder. 1 of them may get life in prison while the other gets capital punishment. Each case is different and juries look at things such as past history of criminal acts and mitigating factors. If guilt is established (which so far hasn't been) in this case, then the Commissioner will consider all the factors and make the appropriate decision regarding any discipline.

Even you have to admit that the NFL should at least reveal what the Steelers pregame PSI measurements were and what the post game measurements were. Unfortunately, I don't think that the NFL will reveal any information. Goodell will simply say that everything was fine. There will be no transparency because he wants the NFL's narrative to remain that the Patriots were the only team ever implicated in a deflating scandal. Also, revealing the Steelers PSI measurements would lead fans to make comparisons with the Patriots PSI measurements. When the NFL failed to announce PSI testing results last year, it was clear to everyone that it had no intention of giving fans any info that could be used for comparisons.
Well, AHfan, what do you have to say about the report that the 2 Steelers footballs measured 11.4 and 11.8. Those figures are below the legal limit and are similar to the Pats football measurements which drew the wrath of Roger Goodell.

No, if the PSIs are within the legal limits, then the NFL doesn't need to reveal what the PSI measurements were because everybody knows what the maximum and minimum limits are so if the PSIs are within the legal limits then we know that the PSIs were between the minimum and maximum limits. As for how close they were to the limit, that would be irrelevant as long as the PSIs are on the correct side of the limit.

So we are just to take their word for it despite their claim of transparency? If they are within the legal limit, prove it.
Now let's use your previous speeding ticket analogy, if someone is within the limit, the results of the radar gun are not revealed. That is, of course, unless there is reason to suspect that a violation occurred. That's the case here. There's reason to suspect it, so if the NFL had any integrity, they would release the measurements.

If the NFL provided the PSI measurements and the PSI measurements were within the legal limit, you pats fans wouldn't accept that as factual anyway. So there's no point in the NFL releasing the PSI measurements.
if someone is within the limit, the results of the radar gun are not revealed.
That's correct. And if the PSIs are within the legal limit, there's no need to release the exact PSI measurements because everybody knows what the minimum and maximum limits are so if the PSIs are within the legal limit then we know that the PSIs are between the minimum and maximum limits.

So the Pats fabricated the whole story so that they could use their old excuse that other teams cheat too? That's as bad as Ryan Lochte's fabricated story about being held up at gunpoint.

Don't twist it. I didn't say it was the Pats that fabricated the story. It was the news agency that reported that the Giants made a complaint.
I read it on espn.com, but can't remember the agency.

I didn't say it was the Pats that fabricated the story.

right. It's just one fail after another.
It was the news agency that reported that the Giants made a complaint.
From what I have read, the Giants
                                          informed
the NFL of the deflated footballs but the league said they didn't submit a
                                          formal
complaint which, apparently, gets them off the hook from going full retard on the Steelers, like they did with the Patriots.
The integrity of the league is safe! because the Giants didn't fill out the proper paperwork?
Why does a rough and tumble sport of men have such whiny pantywaists for fans?
