I remember Annie, she was nice, but long gone. I don't recall Kam's interaction with her though. I do recall one particular piece of unpleasantness aimed at another Irish poster, which I felt was beyond the pale (as it were), in addition to his constant, extremely tedious, talking up of mediocrities like Richard Dunne, and whining about conspiracies against City in a manner even a Celtic fan might balk at. He did have quite good taste in music, though. Speaking of which, nice Byrds quote. I approve.

Annie's husband
I crossed paths with him through work and we ended up Facebook buds for a good while, seems to have deleted his account a while back though.
I never met him in person but we chatted in messages a fair bit, he's as you'd expect; clever, extremely well informed, very funny, a gent. Bit of an oddball. -

Hey! I'm reknowned for my giddy optimism and youthful joie de vivre throughout large swathes of Edinburgh, well, within a 15cm radius of my house at least. My feeling is that Scotland have been showing signs of improvement in the last couple of years, and our club sides have improved too; so upper mid-table mediocrity is a realistic aim, fourth or even third in the table, with wins over France and Wales a distinct possibility if they don't sneakily try too hard.
On the other hand, some of our rugger bugger press have been talking up our chances even beyond that, which can only end one way. So I reckon a humping by England and failure to win both of the above matches will probably ensue, leaving a familiar sense of disappointment, and no first top 2 finish since 1874 or thereabouts.

Yes you have a good first 15, and have improved.
problem is as have Ireland, England and wales.. and they have larger squads.
But fair play - If all your players are fit - you will not be a walk over.
I think you will get 4th spot.

I suppose wales have not improved much in two years - but there squad and staff are still a force to be recconed with on the day. They have remained stagnant but still Good.
However I don't see why scotalnd may not upset them.
I am backing you against France. You may balls it up against Italy. Just for that typical wind the fans up performance - after almost beating England or Ireland by a point or something!
