It seems to please some to have a label to live up to.
Perhaps that all some people need
A shame they then decide to go and then attack the other labels they are told they should as part of their nature.

No, it’s not. What a stupid comment.
But yes, this is arguably pseudoscience in that 1) you can curate answers to manipulate the result and 2) personalities are too complex to be “typed.”
It’s still very useful for learning how to interact better with different people.

️ — 8 months ago(July 30, 2025 03:25 AM)I was depressed because I was stuck around a bunch of people i didnt like in new york. A bunch of narcissist workaholic braggers. I was so dead inside. Getting back into philosophy and poetry brought me out of it.
I remember the day my actual deep depression ended. It was in early summer 2018. I was listening to the song Humility by Gorillaz and I realized I wasnt depressed anymore. I felt like dancing in the street. Coming out of depression felt like in Neon Genesis Evangelion in the scene where Shinji is having existential realizations and you see the glass shattering as a representation of this realization + him coming out of his protective shell.
I'm still a depressive person, very prone to getting sad and down, but I'm not clinically depressed anymore.
I hope you are able to get out of it!

You do strike me as the type of person who could be extroverted if you weren't depressed "im not saying you come off depressed, but you stated that you are depressed so that's the basis".
