Trade Tony Romo for J.J. Watt?

It's not bollocks at all, which is why guys like Schefter and Rappaport are saying it, rather than Chris "Fall Guy" Carter.
Tony Romo is a great QB, but he doesn't have much trade value.

Romo will get injured in his first game with Houston, and they will have lost their best defensive player for nothing.
If I were Houston Id put a clause in the trade saying Romo must start so many games or Houston gets Dallas's first round pick. -

"Possible trade"?
It's "possible" in the same way Russel Wilson for Pacman Jones is a "possible" trade.
Why in the hell would the Texans trade away their best player..the best defensive player in the gamefor a guy like Romo who is constantly injured and is a decade older?
Romo is 37 and is made of glass, why would the Texans give Watt up for him? Just dumb. -

Cowboys should be looking for a decent corner and draft picks. If a team offers more, providing their quality defensive pieces, they should take it.
Houston would be insane to make this trade. A good QB for 3 years tops in exchange for your franchise player? Crazy. -

I disagree that Houston would be crazy to make this trade, if another 1st round pick was thrown in along with Romo. The Houston defense was still a top tier defense without JJ Watt this season, and with a great QB like Romo they could be a threat in the playoffs. Say what you want about Tony Romo, he's a great QB and Houston would be a contender with him.

How can Romo be a great QB Lou? He's never won anything, the guy only has 2 playoff wins lol.
I like how you'll say a 37 YO QB who is constantly injured with only 2 career playoff wins is "great". but Andrew Luck is "overrated" despite having more playoff wins than Romo in around a third the time.
That's what is so great about you Lou, the cold, hard facts and logic in your arguments. And you never waffle or change the goalposts.
You sure know a lot about football Lou. -

Romo had nothing but trash around him in Dallas, he never an ounce of talent to work with and always had horrendous defenses, but he still managed to get Dallas in the playoffs several times. I never said he was "elite", but he's a great player. If Tony Romo has been the Colts QB in 2016 they would've gone 11-5 and made the playoffs IMO, as Romo wouldn't have crapped his pants against the Texans and Jags like Luck did. But go on believing Andrew Luck, a guy who can't beat Texans teams lead by Brian Hoyer and Brock Osweiler, is better than Tom Brady, a 4 time Super Bowl champion who has humiliated Luck every time they've met. You're an idiot.

Louplease quote me where I have ever said Luck is better than Brady.
I know you're a dummy with reading comprehension problems but you've crossed over into being a straight up liar.
Here, I'll do what you always do Lou.if you post a quote from me saying Luck is better than Brady I'll delete my account. How's that for an incentive?
But if you don't you just prove what we all already know is true, you're a lying idiot who knows nothing about football.
And since the thread where I said the Pats would trade for Luck in a heartbeat is still there if you don't post the quote, I will. What I said was Brady is going to be 40 next seasonLuck is going to be 28. Brady is at the end of his career while Luck hasn't even entered his prime yet.
So put up or shut Lou. Post that quote where I said Luck is better than Brady. -

"Please, at this point there are only a couple of QB that any coach would, take over Luck. You really think if after this season BB was offfered Luck for Brady he wouldn't make that trade? Brady is 40 lol. Brees is 37. Rivers is what, 36-37? "
My exact quote Lou.
Here's the thread if anyone wants the context:

So where's the quote of me saying Luck is better than Brady Lou? -
Xeliou66 — 9 years ago(January 20, 2017 06:38 PM)
Saying that the Pats should trade Brady for Luck is stupid, Brady has crushed Luck every time they've played, Brady is the GOAT and has won 4 Super Bowls and Luck is an overrated TO machine that loses to Brock Osweiler. You're an idiot.

I didn't say "should" I said would.
Because Brady will be 40 and Luck will be 28? It's kind of like how Luck isn't better than Manning but the Colts picked him ove Manning because They realized 3-4 years of Manning<15 years of Luck?
Now about that quote Lou.you know the one where where I said Luck was better than Brady?
Or are you admitting you're a liar in addition to being a dummy?
Just copy and paste where I said Luck is better than Brady..should be easy to do.
Then I'll delete my account and you can gloat. -

What the Cowboys should do is see if some team will give them some crazy amount of draft picks for Prescott. Like 2 1's, 2 2's, and the rest of one full draft, Ditka style. Take that, improve the team and you're still gonna compete and likely be even better with Romo
But this is ridiculous. I figured a mid rounder for Romo, maybe a 4th, 3rd if we're lucky and a team is desperate
I used to do drugs. I still do, but I used to, too
