His schtick is way past old and he's made no effort to change. He uses references that are too obscure to understand and he uses one inside joke after another. It's like he wants to make sure that all the viewers understand that he's in with the in crowdeven though no one else gives a sh!t.

Any act gets stale if you have heard it over and over and over and over and over and over. Listen to Richard Pryor or George Carlin's best stuff every day and you would quit laughing after a while. I lover Berman for years and I don't hate him but there are other voices I'd rather hear.

I agree that acts get old after awhile, but your reference to Richard Pryor and George Carlin doesn't work in my world. I've seen all their concerts countless times and even though I know their routine/acts, I still lol.
Different strokes I guess.

He is loud and obnoxious. That being said, guys like Evan Washburn, spiro dedes, and the cbs college basketball studio guy are incredibly bland white noise. At least the older guys had, have personality , the younger guys are bland Ken dolls.

I liked him in the early and middle parts of his career. But in the latter part he reminds me of that annoying uncle at family get-togethers that says stupid stuff and talks way too much. Enough already.
