and kearse cant make that easy catch. Field goal no doubt. If they go for it theyre stupid.
And richardson is there no.3. They should make him no.1. do you know how that opens up the field with graham and the rest of the gang.

pass interference? lol. on 3 and 17.
In the channel im watching it on they showed paul grabbing the defenders mask while cathching that almost td pass. I loved it even more. How can he do all that, grab the guys mask and still cheat? Good cheaters. If you didnt pay attention with a zoom camera you'll never notice him face masking the defender so he cant defend the ball almost breaking his neck and still catching that lob pass.

Extra point bonks off the goal post and Seattle has to settle for just 6. They are up 19-6 right now and if Detroit can't do any better than FG's then Seattle just might outdistance them at this point and Detroit will simply run out of time.

This game is over. Rawls is having a monster game with 20+ 100+. They are running the ball like they should and the lions shouldve. With that running attack they can easily run out the game and its lights out. Plus that killer defense forget about it.

Someone said Stafford has a 4-46 record vs teams that finish above .500.

He was carrying an injury but he did still look slightly uncomfortable. I hope the Lions can continue to build around Stafford and come back stronger, not fall away. He has so much talent but now's the time to step up and show it in some big games. And it probably won't get any easier in the NFC North; you'd expect a healthy Minnesota Vikings to come back stronger next season, the Green Bay Packers are a tough divisional rival and surely the Chicago Bears will start to improve under John Fox. I think Stafford has some talented receivers around him if they can keep them all in Detroit for next season.

I just don't give a sht anymore. And I'll be in California next year, so my local coverage will be the Rams and Chargers, which both suck but I would bet money one of those teams wins a playoff game before Detroit does.

I used to talk to a trucker from Detroit on imdb, a long-suffering Lions fan. I'm a Cleveland Browns fan and we'd both say how great it would be to see them play eachother in a Super Bowl. It's beyond painful that the highlight reels the NFL digs up for these two great old franchises are always plucked from the 1950s.

I actually think he is part of the problem. His been there way too many years with great players and decent teams with great stats but just doesnt win. I never liked him as an overall pick. He wasnt been a bust but i think the lions should move to a new direction and trade him for a ton of picks or players while his stock is at its highest. I think they would benefit greatly if they had a running qb like vick or taylor they would take advantage of the fast playing turf. As bad as that gm they fired who was there for many years and never won. I thought he was pretty smart. He hired good coaches and drafted smart and the right players but for whatever reason it never worked. That no.2 receiver who got hurt wouldve been great for Lions had he not. I always liked Harrington and several of the qbs they drafted and had. They always tended to pick great receivers one of my favs. Roy williams, I used to think Mike Williams was a beast but he just didnt turn out at the NFL level. Theyve had quite a few decent rbs. I thought Bush was pretty good for the team but that was one if its bust they just never stick around. This team would benefit greatly from a pass heavy offensive and a cover 2 type defense like theyve had in the past. As much as I really liked the pick and the presence of Sui he was overrated and was going to be too much to keep. They just didnt get anything in return. I thought harley was going to be good, he was a bust. They should follow this formula, abandoned st, abandoned the front seven and focus on the dbs. Abandoned the running game and blow a ton on a super qb with 2 superstar down the field wrs and an above average passing o/line. I always feel if they dont take this approach theyll fail and they have, but they are not too far off to succeed. In the right direction they can get that label off their back and become winners.

The thing is that i dont mind cheating. As long as is within the game. Because its part of hustle and whoever hustles the most even if it means pushing the limits of the game within the game should be the winner in my view. The pats cheat behind the lines and that where I have problem with.
No other team has illegally cheated as the pats. But other teams have done really bad stuff but not as bad. I remember something with the falcons, i think with crowd noise.
The st. Cardinals with the radar gun and so-on. The list is very long but i just dont see it the same taping.
