Love it! I also get teary-eyed every time I hear Silent Night by Mannheim Steamroller.

It used to be, it was unanimously decided that this was the greatest Xmas song of all time (about 10 or 15 years ago), but radio and pub DJs have been over playing it unmercifully ever since, the result being, it has lost its magic.

By that rationale - nothing can ever become a firm favorite in the long run
If it becomes too well prasied - or is too good - it has to die due to over popularity.
But anyway despite that - Its still the greatest Christmas song ever - or even more to the point - the only decent Christmas song ever made.

Sad but true, all great songs get overplayed. Or worse, used in adverts.
