That 08 Lions team was awful; though yeah, it surprised me at the time that they couldn't steal ONE win. Felt like at least half of their games came down to the 4th quarter. And they actually played one of Manning's tough Colts teams pretty hard late in the game, if I recall.
But that defense, though. Lord. They got whooped by people like J.T. O'Sullivan, Gus Ferotte, Jason Campbell, Taravis Jackson, David Garrard, Schaub, Orton/Grossman, washed up post-Lion era Jeff Garcia, washed up Kerry Collins, Yikes. Can't really say that had the toughest schedule.

They lost 8 games by 10 points or less. It's been said when teams lose a bunch of close games that equates to COACHING. Rod Marinelli (10-38). Enough said. -

As of right now I would say no in less one of these teams plays like crap, and the Browns mange to win the game. Here is the record for all the remaining teams they have left, if so I will mange they might steal a game from Pittsburgh but it is hard to say until they play the games against them.
Baltimore Ravens 4-4
Pittsburgh Steelers 4-4
New York Giants 5-3
Cincinnati 3-4
Buffalo Bills 4-5
San Deigo Chargers 4-5
The Giants are the only team left they have that aren't in the AFC, and all the AFC teams has a losing record, but it is hard to say until they play a game. I had thought that the Bears might have even gone 1-15 or at least 1-7 before their bye week but they beat the Minnesota Vikings at home, for their second win so you never know what all happen. -

@ Ravens, Pittsburgh @ Cleveland, Cincinnati and San Diego look like winnable games. The Giants will probably be that one win were the Browns have no business winning (that they have almost every season) but based solely on the match-ups they probably won't.

If they're going to win one, it'll be the one at home against San Diego. That's a bad team too, and they're especially bad on the road when they cross the Mississippi - something that's been true for years. If they don't win that one, then yes, they're going 0-16.

I doubt they can beat San Diego. They are certainly living up to their Chokin' Chargers name with some of their narrow losses that they could have won, but they still don't look a team bad enough to lose to Cleveland, across the Mississippi or not.
I kinda think last night in Baltimore might have been their best chance. Doubt Steelers will blow it on the road next week or at home Week 17. They especially need the game next week too badly. Same with Cinci when they play.
At this point I think they can only hope for Eli Manning to have one of his dingbat games and just disappear in Cleveland. That or the Browns catch the not-great Bills off guard on the road.
Plus, Hue Jackson already looks deflated and uninterested in winning right now. Putting Josh McCown in for a "spark?" Huh? So I'm going with 0-16.
I play real sports. I aint trying to be the best at exercising. -

Oh, why can I see them coming to Buffalo and beating the Bills?
Only silver lining is that losing to the Brown Stains will probably bring the Reign of Rex to an end. Like Louis XVI if there's any justice.
Your future's all used up.
