Welcome to the Premier League Mr Guardiola. Never had it this easy in Spain or Germany.

Of course not. I was among those who predicted that he won't find it easy in England. He inherited a perfectly oiled machine at Bayern, had van Gaal's and Heynckes foundations in positional play to build on, and one of the top three if not the best squad in Europe at that time.
He doesn't have that luxury at City, and in addition he had barely a preparation thanks to the Euros. How's he gonna implement a system under these circumstances when at Bayern it took him two years?
Even with that Bayern squad he kept underperforming in away games against almost every half decent team. 1-4 against Wolfsburg, 0-2 against Leverkusen, 1-3 against Porto, 0-2 against Arsenal, 0-3 against Barca. What he was great at was consistently beating the minnows and midtable teams. When it came to the good teams in my opinion he underachieved. -
