Say Dale Earnhardt survived the 2001 Daytona 500.
Would he have gotten his 8th Winston Cup Championship and surpassed Richard Petty as the greatest NASCAR driver ever? Where would NASCAR be today if Dale was still alive? Would NASCAR have gotten as serious about safety if he hadn't died?
