I've never seen Someone Up There Likes Me, I've heard it's a real good one.
Newman did a lot of sports related films. When I think about it, I think he would have been better as Roy Hobbs than Redford was, although he was probably too old for the role.

The Verdict, great Boston flick. Was Clea the daughter that you met? I've met her, too, actually.

The Verdict is a GREAT Boston movie, right up there with Mystic River, which might be my favorite Boston movie. And of course Good Will Hunting.
I met his daughter Nell. I was working at a health food market in the late 90's and she came in to do some promotional stuff for Newman's Own foods. Like I said, she wasn't too nice, but she might have just been having a bad day or something.

Me and the missus were talking about how it would be cool to erase some movies from your memory and watch them with the ending intact. Two that came up were The Verdict and The Sting.
            Your future's all used up.

                Pretty good list.
                I'd go with
                Cool Hand Luke

                Butch Cassidy

I didn't like Cool Hand Luke. Perhaps because I saw it late at night and I was a bit tired. Maybe I need to give it another chance.

                        Twilight
                        (1998)
A young Reese Witherspoon topless. What other Paul Newman movie could be better than that?
