Oh, hell yes. Brickyard Kennedy, Icebox Chamberlain, Pink Hawley (and his brother Blue Hawley), Old Hoss Radbourne, Grasshopper Jim Whitney. They knew how to make a nickname back then.

I'm going to guess Johnny Podres. He pitched for a long time for the Dodgers but I don't like to pick pre-60 players for something like this.

the waiting is over. i will start you with clifford the big red dog to test your reading skills. it is a childrens book. they draw him big in every page and he goes to different places to show you how big he is, even though they just drew him big.
should keep you occupied for a week or so. -
