I mean ones made by Nintendo anyway, since every other brand of controllers for the nes suck and don't always work right, especially the d pad which makes playing games difficult.
Does anyone know if this will work though.
Maybe I could buy one of the new Nintendo controllers for the nes classic edition, you know, the ones with the usb port instead of a regular nes port.
Of course that would not work with a retron nes which is what I have. But my idea is to cut the wire for the nes classic edition controller and also cut another controller (the cheaply made one which came with retron)I have which sucks. And then tape the two wires together, allowing me to use the new Nintendo controller

I don't think anyone has answered your threads because it sounds like a bad idea that won't work but if you can get it to work, great. I think it won't.
