I don't use the boards as frequently as I used to but I'll miss everything and everyone here so I'm definitely down for a board migration though I know these things rarely work out. I'll miss the atmosphere here regardless even if most of us transfer to reddit or something.

Well it's not like we're gonna miss out on anything! We'll still have Gamespot and IGN to discuss video games on! The only downside about them removing messageboards on IMDb is the way people won't be able to talk about celebrities and movies/tv shows!

Aye but there's discussing video games and then there's discussing video games and other nonsense with these loons. It can't be replicated. Hopefully the majority of us go over to reddit or something.
Also, it's something of a habit that once I've finished watching a film, I go to it's board and look at other peoples thoughts and questions. I'll miss that. -

That's too bad. I just caught this just now. It only turned out this way because IMDB was too lazy and cheap to get actual human moderation. The message boards were the best part about this place.

Wow wtf! What a stupid thing to do. Pretty much the only reason I(and I reckon tons more people)visit this place is for the discussion boards.
There is one positive though. No more Harry_Sux_Dix!
