So yeah, got a NES for Christmas, need some games recommendations.
Don't bother with the obvious stuff (Mario/Zelda/Metroid) or anything that's going to cost a small fortune (River City Ransom) - but anything else I'd love to hear about.
I got Solar Jetman with it which seems to be the sort of level in looking at; well rated but pretty cheap on eBay.

That's my favorite of the series.
I'll toss in Marble Madness, N.A.R.C. and Friday the 13th. That last one seems to get hate now, but I always dug it. It's pretty cool once you figure it out
