I used to love reading a lot more, but video games, movies, and anime have all ruined my attention span :(.

^ This (minus anime). Not to mention all this sloppy, informal communication (forums, social media, texting, youtube comments, etc) is eroding our collective grammar and writing ability.

I enjoy both. I do both every day. No need to choose one over the other.

They are both hobbies of mine. It's not so much a matter of which one I like more but which one I like more at this moment.

Both. I go through cycles. I'll be into books for a month or two, and then lose interest and will be into video games for a while before getting back into books again.

When i was younger i was a huge reader, but now i can't say why but i read maybe 2/3 books par year. I play more. Maybe i play more because when i was young, a game cost 80/90 euros, and there was no occasion game. Now with steam, psn or cash shop, it is very easy to buy more games.
So i am more a player than a reader

I rarely read novels anymore. Regardless, I prefer to play story games, since they're more likely to hold my attention and stir curiosity in me, by virtue of them being interactive. Inasmuch, I tend to prefer to play story games than to watch movies. My mood does shift sometimes, though. Sometimes I don't want to play games at all. Sometimes I don't want to watch movies longer than ten minutes long.

A Song of Ice and Fire is the only reason reading means anything at all, and the only reason my memory still works after years of drinking.

Nothing like a good book but finding a good book can be tricky. If I was rich I would probably read an ebook a week.

Books. No rampant groups of kindle vs Paperback vs Hardcover master race nerds. Plus I can finish the book without paying again for all the pages.

Non public domain books are best to be owned in the physical medium for the time being. But honestly, a lot of public domain stuff, whether books, movies or games is the shjt.
