Huh, after hearing people talk about the campaign, it's starting to sound quite interesting. Just heard TotalBiscuit talk about it, talking about space combat and ranger mode like in the Metro games. There's apparently a bit of Mass Effect over it, in that you're the commander of a space ship and choose which missions to take and so on. You're playing the underdog, too, contrary to being the superpower in all of the previous titles. Heard a bunch of other reviewers talk positively about it. Multiplayer still looks like crap, though.
If they had a campaign standalone package like with the 15 multiplayer standalone, I'd contemplate getting it. Anyone play the campaign?

Someone got confused, thought Activision's business plan of "infinite warfare" was supposed to be a title, and slapped it onto this game.
Still, I'll take space adventures over plain military shooters any day. The incredible negative reaction to this thing shows how unpleasable fans can bethey want COD to be different, but not TOO different.
Might be good, but I'd be very surprised if it's a better sci fi shooter than Titanfall 2.

What? Not sure I understand.

Yeah, I've never understood why people were so upset about the setting and so happy about Battlefield going backwards.
