The US military has an old tradition where we collect and exchange unique challenge coins with each other. Some are from high ranking generals, some are from specific units and others are just random.
The tradition is that each military member must carry a challenge coin on them at all times, especially when drinking at bars. If a military member drops a challenge coin at a bar, everyone at the bar must show their coin. If someone doesn't have their challenge coin, then they have to buy a round of drinks for the bar. If everyone has their coin, then the person who initially dropped the coin has to pay.
I have a collection of about 120 military coins from my career so far.
I didn't know until I served overseas that some popular video games get their own military coins too. So far I've only seen them overseas but they might give them out on certain US military bases. Below are the coins I've got so far in Korea, has anyone else heard about these or collect them?

They probably have some Final Fantasy challenge coins out there.
But yeah, if you were to throw down pretty much any video game related coin at a bar you would get laughed at by guys with Navy SEAL, Air Force Pararescue, Army Delta and Marine Recon coins.
The Fallout 4 coin is pretty bad ass tho,

Those are pretty cool. I like the Wolfenstein one.
They tried implementing something similar at my job, but nobody seemed to care. Then again you had to be good at your job to get any coins so not many people got them.
You can't just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!
