      Horror Express
A nice flick starring Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing on a train.

Oh I meant to watch that one, added it to the watch list a while back. A movie based on the "Who Goes There?" novella. The second adap- ahem First remake of it!

I did not know it was based upon the same source material as The Thing.
When I think about it, there's a couple of similarities but it's really a different movie.

The first movie changed a couple of things too anyway.
That'll be the next movie I watch.

But the novella takes place on a research station on the South Pole, right?
Not on a train in Siberia.

That it does. Just saying that it takes a couple of liberties and changes things that may or may not be core premises of the novella.
Isolated setting in a snowy landscape.

The Thing (1982) is a remake.
Horror Express (1972) premise looks very interesting. However, it has just average to fairly goodish reviews at best.
I was expecting more. But it seems it's a cult classic. I still need to watch that movie.

All sorta plausible sh!t. Not hokey bs horror flick movies.

                        Can't choose!
                        My top 3:
                        The Exorcist
                        The Shining
                        Texas Chainsaw Massacre '74
The Exorcist is the ONLY horror movie that scares me. It's not a
                        scary
per se, but the imagery will make you keep the lights on once you finish it
The Shining isn't really scary either but it's justso.Damn..GOOD. And Texas ChainsawMan, the last half of that movie makes you feel like you're in a fcking nuthouse. I love every minute of it!
                        Howard Hughes was Italian?

The Shining is just an extremely overrated borefest. It's as scary as watching a Barney the Dinosaur episode.

                              Die Hand Die Verletzt
                              It's brutal! It's a masterpiece of horror!

The Shining. Not only my favorite scary movie, but my favorite movie of all time. A true masterpiece.
The Exorcist would be my second choice.
I'm tired of talkin, Fuchs. I just wanna get up to my shack and get drunk.

The Shining is overrated garbage. Even a barbie doll is scarier than that movie.
                                  A truly terrible movie.
