I thought he was well on his way to becoming the next reg.
These guys give up way too quickly.
Also: I never want to see anyone that participated in chasing him off bitching how there's no new blood here.
This board will die when the current regs leave which is already starting to happen as the board's total post are now just under 40,000 where it used to be right there in the 50,000s with the sports board. -

To both of you: I don't think he was trolling. Trying too hard? maybe, but not trolling.
Plus, what would possess a "good new" poster to come here again? Literally every new user I've seen come here has gotten chased off. -

Either he was pissed off about the board deletion prank or that was his way of vying for attention.
Attacking everyone is not easy to recover from though. That explains the self nuke. -

I became familiar with him when I used to post on the Politics board, he's a complete troll and an idiot. I never even read any of his posts on here, I knew there was no point.
As for the rest, that's honestly a good question. This board isn't welcoming to new posters. I used to try to engage them then we got that whole Crimsonlilith thing and I subsequently grew suspicious of any new names showing up. -

I imagine it's because of the reporter troll who started right about that time, but the people who left don't seem to be coming back.
Also, the fact that the gaming industry is lacking at the moment sure doesn't help. -

Discussions will no doubt increase back up when more popular games release, as it's probably one of the reasons why the board is stagnating. I know plenty of users still login and creep the board; they're just not openly discussing topics. New users need to post more, but only post in on-topic threads that encourage a valid healthy discussion, and not create some of the click-bait or OT threads that others try to spam

I remember when I first started to post here I didn't get flamed by anyone. I'm pretty sure it's because I only replied to current existing threads and didn't spam the board with new threads
