Dalton was definitely playing it like a stage role at times. But I kind of liked his dedication to playing it more by the book, as it added tension to the scenes with the villains. But Moore was vastly more entertaining.

Roger Moore used to be my favourite because his Bond movies are more fun like Octopussy is basically a slapstick comedy but recently I think I would say Sean Connery is way cooler and looks much better than Roger Moore. Then I like George Lazenby just because his movie is one of the best with probably the best* ending of any Bond movie. I am not too familiar with the other Bonds, I have seen all the Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan movies from when they would be on TV but not for many years and I only saw a couple of Daniel Craig ones and I don't like him. I think he is kind of ugly and I have no interest in him as Bond.
I think for me Bond is nostalgic as I remember the films always being on over Christmas or Easter and mostly it was Sean Connery or Roger Moore and out of those two my preference is now Sean Connery. But Live and Let Die was always my favourite movie followed by On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

mr. kotto was also in a first season of A-team where he played a Harlem ganster muscling in on a lower class multi-ethnic neighborhood, and Mr. T didnt take too kindly to that.
the
alligator
scene was inspiring, but the film also introduces protypical down-home backwoods redneck sheriff J. W. pepper, who, after giving chase to Bond, and seeing all the destruction Bond created, asks Bond if Bond is " what are you boy, some kind of Doomsday machine?"
The sheriff returns in Golden Gun where, true to character, he refers to the local Thailand police as " pointy heads."
ah, the glory days of hollywood

Brosnan - mostly because he was my first Bond and Goldeneye 64 is the GOAT.
Connery - objectively the best Bond.
Moore - set a great template for Bond humour.
Lazenby - his one film was GREAT, he had potential and left me wanting more.
Daniel Craig - was great in Casino Royale and Skyfall but also had some dire performances, he also outstayed his welcome so gets placed below Lazenby.
Niven - only here to emphasize how I feel about:
Dalton - 🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱
