Mutually assured destruction. Democrats won't release it, because, yes, Clinton is also in the files, and probably other prominent Democrats as well.
The push to release the files is coming from two Congressmen - Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna - who are already viewed as outsiders. Neither party's establishment wing wants to see the files released.
