An advanced society with high technology and flying craft, vs a medieval society that has to try and co-exist with them.

Can anyone identify this film?
A man is packing a suitcase for a train journey. His family ask him if he has packed his medication.
He says he has more than enough.
Later he rings home (probably from the train station) to say he's forgotten his medication and he collapses and dies.
