I never thought that Emilio Estevez was anything special.
I liked him in Repo Man as a teenage punk kid turned "repo man". He was exceedingly average in every other film I've seen him in. He made a so-so Billy the Kid in Young Guns. -

You are right. That would be an exception for me as well.
Young Guns did nothing at all for me, but I won't attribute that to Estevez. I am old school, and the only Billy The Kid movie I ever really liked was Pat Garrett And Billy The Kid. -

I used to think Nick Nolte was real good, but anymore I am thinking I dislike more of his movies than I like.
I think Patrick Swayze was probably a real nice guy, but I never thought his acting was anything special. -

As for realism
with a spoiler alert
Clint Eastwood plays an old guy that starts transporting drugs for a cartel, in a pickup truck, from the border up to (I think) Chicago.
He is very successful and makes several runs and all the cartel guys really like him.
Then he is on a run and a family emergency happens and he gets a call on his cell phone and he diverts a load.
All the cartel guys do is rough him up a little bit.
At least that's the way I remember a forgettable movie.
But being roughed up a little bit by cartel guys for diverting a load seemed highly unrealistic to me.
As I remember, he was finally arrested by Bradley Cooper. -

i agree about sandler. rob schneider and david spade on my list along with robert davi, kevin sorbo.
i like bullock as actress. after she divorced jessie james, didnt he rebound with then fading porn star janine lindenmulder?
