We can fix it for adults with vulnerabilities and also adults who have been through a really tough time of it of late. We can give them something nice to put a spring in their steps.
We start off with a big sob story like ‘my canal boat blew up with everyone who I loved on board’ and then the next bit could be us arranging a fun day out for that person at Alton Towers!
Canal boat is good but just off the mark for the sensitive culture we live in these days Bobby.
I'd prefer something like "I'm the child of a Rwandan refugee from the winning side of that genocide and I'd really like to meet the new Doctor Who"
Think of the joy and cultural barriers we can break down with something like that Bobby

We could just do it live in the studio! That would be special without costing an arm and a leg. We could even get some old Dalek prop to come on going ‘exterminate exterminate’ and Shooty can hand the lad his sonic screwdriver and say ‘point it at the Dalek and press this button here’. The Dalek would then explode (very mildly), the audience would cheer and the boy would be well chuffed.

I do love that idea Bobby but Shooty has yet to see a Dalek in his time as The Doctor
That would be like having Doctor Jodie kiss River Song. It just wouldn't make sense

I can’t even remember any of Shooty’s villains though oh wait yeah I do….we could get that trannie to play the Maestro! They will do it for free too because it’s vulnerable people.

I’m using ‘trannie’ as short for transvestite. I call transsexuals by the sex by which they have transitioned.
The only ones of these that I can actually remember are the bird people and Sue Tech. Sue Tech would be too dear to do. I'm always confused about the prefix 'trans' Bobby. It means to be going to somewhere else, in movement. So unless a transwoman has cut her penis off is she still a man or does the willy have to come off and then, if that's the case, can't we then dump the 'trans' part.
At least I can understand transvestite as that's a temporary state of affair to do with dressing up
