Thanks. I've wanted to see Come Back To The Five and Dime Jimmy Dean Jimmy Dean for quite some time actually. My mother spoke of it many times and it has a great cast.
You can watch it here on Filmboards and I believe the full movie is still on YouTube.
Both Come Back To The Five and Dime and Nashville are Robert Altman films.
Thankfully the chain was still intact.

I also have my grandfather's diary from the 1930's. Very sad and depressing stuff. They were so poor and he died at age 42. The diary just stops.
