Are you talking about creating horcrux, the dark spell involve splitting your soul into inanimate objects to stay alive? Nah. Sounds painful and it's a hassle to do it.
But if you mean, you die and possess any inanimate objects like dolls to cause chaos in someone's household? Probably yes, as I have such unhealthy love for mischiefs. As long as no one burns a sage, though. Like this:
