the only reason a remake of a movie should ever be made is if you can make the remake better than the original. so it's not just you can make the remake different than the original bc if you can make it different then just make your own movie and don't copy another movie by making a remake of a film.
movies are always about creativity so if you want to make the most creative film which is the highest standard for a film then this of course means you have to make the most creative film and if you copy another film by making a remake you are not being creative.
