"Carrie" is my all-time favorite movie, but I don't put it in the horror genre. It's its own very special hybrid of suspense, melodrama, pathos and humor. The great final shock, yes, I do think of as horror, but that's the only part of the movie that I see as horror.
I thought about putting down "The Omen", but it got edged out by TCM.
I would have liked to have seen Dario Argento's "Phenomena" or "Suspiria" place, but it was just our top 3.

"The Innocents"
"Rosemary's Baby"
"The Texas Chainsaw Massacre"
"Halloween" and "Jaws" are two of my all-time favorite movies, but I don't think of them as horror. "Halloween" is more slasher-thriller and "Jaws" is pure suspense.
