    October 1:
I watched 5 movies, 3 of them were horror:
Elvira: Mistress of the Dark (1988) horror/comedy 8/10
Au Pair Girls (aka. Mother's Helpers, 1972) erotic comedy 6/10
    Nightbreed (1990) Horror 5/10
    Indecent Desires (1968) Drama/fantasy 7/10
Sometimes They Come Back (1991) Horror 7/10
I worked today so haven't watched anything yet. I'm going to watch Birds of Paradise tonight, which isn't a horror, but looks interesting.

      🎃👍
      I remember
      Sometimes They Come Back
Not too terrible for a sequel.
You asked a pretty question; I've given you the ugly answer.

Seriously though, you should watch Nightbeast (1982).

Please restore your thread! There can be two October horror movie threads.
I was just going to say in my reply that you should check out Hocus Pocus. I guess it's supposed to be a kids' movie, but it's fun for all ages.

I have heard so many people talk about how much they love
                  Hocus Pocus
. It's a Must See Halloween favorite. I'm ashamed to admit that I have never seen it, but I plan to remedy the situation this year. As many here remind me, I'm not getting any younger.
                  Would
                  The Witches of Eastwick
be good paired with that? Witches and the Devil! A great combination with Cher, Susan Sarandon, and Michelle Pfeiffer. As for That Dirty Devil, nobody plays him better than Jack Nicholson!

I haven't seen The Witches of Eastwick in a while, but it might pair well with Hocus Pocus. Although I think TWoE is more "adult oriented." So watch HP first and TwOE later in the evening.

I agree. First cute. Then naughty.
I'm sorry about making this thread if you have already made a similar one. I searched all over, and I couldn't find it.
What the heck though. There's always room for more.

Thanks, but I didn't start a similar thread. My reply was to another poster who had started a thread about watching horror movies in October, before you started this thread; they posted a link to their thread in this thread, and then you posted that you were blocking them and couldn't see their post. Then they deleted their posts in this thread, as well as the posts in their thread (including the first post in their thread). I asked them to restore their posts, but they didn't.

Did it just show up for you today? I changed it on October 1, pretty soon after midnight.
Yes, it's orange, black, and purple for Halloween. I've been changing my avatar for different holidays/seasons for years.

I just watch my October horror haphazardly, but I'm looking forward to watching Skeleton Key soon. It's been haunting me for a while…
Also the original Omen which is one of the most horrifying movies on my list.

                                          Skeleton Key
1978, or 2006? I have never seen either. I looked them up. Both sound interesting.
The original Omen is definitely on my October list of films to watch! An entire weekend of THE DEVIL is a MUST!
Tomorrow, I'm thinking of a little fun and laughter before I get into some serious horror…
