I wonder what happened to Green?
It seems like he was always trying too hard to be famous or funny and just didn't quite catch on to his weirdness.
He was a household name for a few years then just went off the radar.

Me, too. He was really annoying for some while. I liked him in a couple of films: this one and Road Trip. Then, his brand of humor got increasingly worse. I remember him interrupting a real baseball game and he acted like, "What's wrong?"

An attention trolling whore like Andy Kaufmann.
Being a troll is only fun for the one doing the trolling.
So while it was funny to these guys it wasn't to the rest of us which is why they bombed.

I never liked Andy Kaufman and didn't think he was funny in Taxi. Christopher Lloyd was a much better character, reminding me of Michael Richards. I haven't seen Man on the Moon so far; will get around it one day.

I never liked Andy Kaufman and didn't think he was funny in Taxi. Christopher Lloyd was a much better character
I liked them both but I think I laugh louder and harder with Jim Ignatowski and his crazy, drug burned out antics!
That was the only place I liked Andy.
He really had no talent.
Lip synching to the Mighty Mouse theme?
Anyone can do that.
While I think Jim Carry was good in Moon, (Where DeVito plays his agent! Go figure.) it showed me what Kaufmann was all about and I found his pranks or trolling to be annoying.
And I think the majority agreed since a phone poll taken if he should appear again on SNL said, "No."

If you get a channel called Catchy Comedy you might get Taxi on every night.
I have a few seasons on disc and would like to complete the collection sometime.
While it had great comedy it also had some good dramatic moments in it too.
Besides Jim, Louie is also a hoot!
With his sleazy ways always trying to make a buck yet underneath that tough exterior he had a soft heart sometimes after all.

Don't have that one. I will get it from the library, hopefully they aren't badly scratched. I am still watching Man on the Moon, very interesting. Will have the review ready tomorrow.
