What has become Obsolete

It was about two years ago. He said the whole house wasn't knob and tube, only some sections. I thought 2000 was a helluva lot, but what do I know? We had to do it to get the house insurance down to a reasonable rate.

My house still has a fuse box. Obsolete, yes, but I've never had a problem.

Just because something is obsolete does not mean people may not have it.
(Automobiles with carbs, for an example.)
However, if you ever have an issue with your fuse box, you will never find another one to replace it with at Lowes or Home Depot or any other place that I can think of.

Yeah, they were replaced by breaker boxes but no, I've never upgraded. Still have the old General Electric fuse box.

Outlet tanks in automotive radiators that are made out of metal.
I haven't seen a metal gas tank for quite a while.
