Ukraine receives Multi-Million Euro Aid to rebuild Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant +++
Ukraine will receive EUR 42.5 million from international partners to repair the protective sarcophagus over the destroyed reactor of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, announced Ukrainian Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Svitlana Hrynchuk. Russian troops attacked the structure in mid-February. The structure, built to contain radioactive material, was damaged, but no serious radiation leaks occurred.
"This is further proof that Ukraine is not facing its challenges alone, but has reliable friends,"
Hrynchuk said.

Mushrooms and Fungus were already topics in this thread.
Now there are new insights.
Strange Chernobyl dark Fungus may ‘eat’ Radiation and even help Astronauts in Space
Scientists discovered an unlikely ally in the battle to clean up Chernobyl’s radiation zones:
The black mold that thrives in them.
A research team found that the fungi not only adapted to a radioactive environment,
but actually fed off it like something out of a Marvel-origin story.
A strain of one of the Chernobyl molds in a petri dish.
The groundbreaking research was set in motion in 1997 after Ukrainian microbiologist Nelli Zhdanova embarked on a field expedition in the ruins of the Nuclear Power Plant near Prypiat (Ukraine) which was the site of the worst nuclear accident in history just eleven years earlier.
Zhdanova noticed that the black mold took up residence in this so-called dead zone. Meanwhile, subsequent surveys of the surrounding soil showed that the mold — which encompassed 37 different species — appeared to be growing towards the source of the radiation.

Interesting article, but it completely overlooks one crucial point:
Perhaps Psilocybin kills or reduces the Borna virus.
