Is a common thing to give up your seat for an elderly person, " respect your elders " we are taught from a young age if we have parents that care.
So by making the only old person here also the only white one, it's like they are banking on people ( white being the majority of people ) on choosing the old lady, so they can say that we are being racist!

I've done it before at 2AM after a night of clubbing but I never made a habit of it.
A fare is now $4.15. I remember when it cost .25 cents!
