An exhibition about Anne Frank opened in January at the Center for Jewish History in New York.
The program of the Anne Frank Days, which run until Sunday in Frankfurt, lives up to expectations. They opened with a lecture by the director of the memorial at the former Buchenwald concentration camp. Guided tours of the Westend Synagogue and the Jewish Museum are offered. The Film Museum is showing Hans Steinbichler's film adaptation of the famous diary of the Jewish girl who hid with her family in a secret annex in Amsterdam, was tracked down there and died in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in February 1945.
