Will the USA soon be without Italian Pasta?
Many US-Americans may soon have to do without their favourite pasta.
Due to announced extreme tariffs, Italian manufacturers prepare to withdraw from the U.S. market.
Pasta worth EUR 800 million was exported to the USA in 2024.
The most popular Italian pasta varieties could soon disappear from the shelves of U.S. supermarkets and grocery stores. The reason: Tariffs are set to take effect in January that would double the price. This stems from the U.S. Department of Commerce's decision to impose an additional anti-dumping duty of nearly 92%.

I've had a lot of pasta in my younger years, but it was macaroni and tuna fish (later with my onions) and a lot of it like age 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, … I came home from school every day and had 1 or 2 boxes of pasta eventually. They had lots of good things out then. Some still are.
When I worked doing Santa Claus photos???? anyway, I had spaghetti with butter and separate meatballs and lots of meatballs. Unfortunately, it was just that. Now, I have like an apple and carrot cut up 2 or 3 times a day, among other healthy and nutritious things with that little meal.
I need money, very interested in the importing ingredients from Europe… and the world.
I do things like have baby food containers, and CUTE! portable ones.
