Did she suicide? And what exactly was bothering her? I understand that her child had anorexia. I understand that she didn't really like her husband.
But other than that, why was she like that about her daughters illness?

That was from mom's perspective. The story is set up that way to make the child seem annoying because the story revolves around the mother's hatred of her child.
