Motor Neurone disease is one of the worst. I know because a friend died of it.
However, when we hear the word 'cancer', we get a knee-jerk reaction.

Because of the high prevalence over other diseases, the number of types and strains which can affect basically any part of your body, and how it can metastasize and shift to other parts of you body. It’s a very cruel disease.

They are not parasites, but can mimic parasitic behavior by stealing cell nutrients. They are mutated host cells.

It actually is. Because of the various strains, types and mutations, some cancers can only be managed, not cured. And some you will just die from regardless of treatment.
