A client who runs a diamond store was telling me that 50% of the diamonds he buys are lab grown and that diamond mines are shutting down all over the world. I never realized this

I heard this one the radio the other day.
Yes, lab-grown diamonds last forever, just like natural diamonds. Because they are composed of pure carbon arranged in the same crystal structure, they possess identical physical, chemical, and optical properties, including a 10/10 hardness rating on the Mohs scale. They do not degrade, fade, or lose their sparkle over time.

Absolutely!
I honestly don't care.
I was never what one calls High Maintenance.
I am such a Cheap Date.
Diamonds or Zirconium?
It's all the same to me.
When Mr. Margo and I talked about getting hitched he asked me about what sort of engagement ring I'd like. I told him to save his money on our future together.
I told him that when we eventually married, all I wanted was a plain gold band to seal the deal.
That's what I got!
