I have played Devil's Advocate a couple of times myself to get a debate going and it is useful to discover the strongest arguments I can think of from the opposing side and play them out. But this charlie never varies his opening gambit and then, after a few nasty exchanges, inevitably disappears. That's why I call him a troll.
