It has the same basic plot: latina daughter of friend kidnapped by gangsters after irresponsible night out, ex-special forces guy has to find her.
But this one has a happy ending.
Both were written by Sylvester Stallone. Statham can't do the high kicks anymore. He relies more on guns and grappling now.
