this is a homegrown outbreak of measles; there was nothing that the stewardesses of 1980 could have done about it. The flight attendants of the last 45 years would have been powerless to prevent it as well.

Granted, she was a highly trained professional who worked for Emirates and not some unionised trolley dolly who lets nurses with ebola into the country from Liberia (Or the other one who had flown from Cleveland to Dallas with it).
Both of them happened under Obama's watch if whoever is running the country is important in such details -
