And don't forget the ever-present whale excrement mixed into the seawater - which actually serves an important ecological function.

Shark attacks even encounters with humans extremely rare.but be advised that if you have salt water you have sharks, I guess arctic and antarctic waters excluded
And if humans swim or boat in areas where sharks feed or breed or vacation then the odds of the shark knocking on the door go up

You're not safe on land either, though, as this scientifically accurate movie trailer depicts:

Why is it called Bikini Shark if the sharks aren't even wearing bikinis? Should be called Land Sharks or something.

Yes but it’s completely pointless calling it Bikini Shark without actually putting the sharks in bikinis 😣

Fine. Here's the quid for the pro: you in a bikini on the Riviera and the shark in question in a bikini and all is balanced

i can't really say for sure that there won't be any sharks in bikinis since I'll never, ever, watch the movie.
but it's possible that they call them bikini sharks because they only eats stuff in bikinis

The same production company (ChampDog Films) has another film out this year called
                        Bikini Nuns
… director's name is listed as Sushank Kini.

I dont know what it is about salty sea water that is millions of years old that makes humans want to risk a horrible death, but it must be some powerful stuff.
Now if they were in the UK for example they may be forgiven for not being worried about a shark attack, but this is ****ing Australia ffs, this is where the majority of shark attacks seem happen.
JAWS was not a hit movie, it was a warning. Stay the fck out of the water, people.
                            Marine animals were exonerated.
Humans often don't know how to behave properly in the water.
And sometimes it's just bad luck.
                            Attacks are comparatively rare!
                            🐟🐠🦈🐡🐙🐋🐳
Sean Kelly and his colleagues from the water rescue organization Surf Life Saving Australia examined which causes of death, other than drowning, are the most common when swimming, snorkeling, surfing or boating on Australian coasts.
They surveyed the causes of 1,667 deaths that occurred on Australian shores between 2012 and 2022.
The deceased were all older than 16 years; younger people were not included in the data.
                            63% drowned
                            35% cardiac arrest or accident
02% marine animals (sharks or jellyfish)
It was primarily males who died. Almost 86% of the group who didn't die by drowning were male!
People over the age of 50 are significantly more likely to die from cardiovascular problems than younger people. Often these people were far from the coast - they went out in a boat.
Due to the greater distance, the rescue could only arrive with a delay and ultimately not in time.

They like to say shark attacks are rare, which is true, but only because most people aren't swimming in he ocean. Those that are dumb enough to, good chance you get eaten by a shark.
