She stated facts whether you agree with it is your problem. Even in Bernie Sander's liberal bastion Vermont the age of consent is 15 and in many other states is 14. Its not society's fault that some parents didn't teach their kids to keep their legs crossed.

The age of consent varies in most states, and there are types of consent. What’s troubling is that in 11 states, the age of consent for sex (see Restricted by Age Difference) is 13 years old, but allows that the age difference is not significant.
The restrictions on 13 to 17 year old have conditions.
However, fully unrestricted consent occurs between the ages of 16 and 18.
Restricted by age difference:
younger partner is deemed able to consent to having sex with an older one as long as their age difference does not exceed a specified amount.
Restricted by authority
: younger partner is deemed able to consent to having sex with any older partner, so long as said older partner is not in a legally recognized position of trust or authority, which the latter is abusing over the former.
Unrestricted
: age from which one is deemed able to consent to having sex with anyone else at or above the age of consent or the marriageable age if they must be married.
If you can’t say something nice, say something clever but devastating.
