Gary Oldman is eminently watchable as per of course.

Just finished it last night.
River was a bit of a dick this season, but Shirley's still the best. Her and Coe had me laughing. She's denied a gun the whole season because she's not doing great due to grief… and the second she gets one, is a total deadshot. I laughed out loud. I love Shirley.
Big bad, probably not since it's people taking revenge for an entire country feeling abandoned.
I didn't think it was necessarily all that much weaker. It's just the first that didn't put River front and centre. -

also, WHAT???? The Expanse is amazing!!! 1st season is somewhat uneven, but after that it's a ****ing ride. HIGHLY recommended.

I just asked my boyfriend, saying people say it's a must see series….and he just said "Is it, though?"…and he's a fan of it.
So I asked him if I would like it and he said probably not, since I'm not exactly a sci fi fan. So I asked him to sell it to me and he said it's got some politics and isn't like Star Trek.
Damn. That's not a lot of selling from a fan.
Can you do a better job of selling it? I just laughed my boyfriend out the room.
